On 7 September 2026, more than 1,000 hoteliers, scientists, farmers and neighbours gathered at Angsana Laguna Phuket for the ninth PHIST — and agreed that caring for the Andaman coast is a job for the whole village, measured in turtles, pineapples and honest numbers.
Phuket’s Andaman Sustainable Tourism Festival will bring five provinces, more than 60 stalls, and free public entry to Laem Phromthep from 28-30 August 2026. The bigger idea is just as attractive: community craft, food, routes, and conservation sharing one bright public stage.
